Welcome to an exciting and vibrant Queensland canoe club. The UQ canoe club is an entirely volunteer run club that supports sea kayaking, canoe polo, white water, flatwater, and trips. It provides kayaks and safety equipment for both beginners and experienced members to use. Prospective members can try before joining. Join the club here. New members click here.

 General Club News
A 4 day trip kayaking and camping up the Noosa river (Friday evening - Monday).

A monthly social night paddle under the full moon. Paddling upstream from UQ, and returning to UQCC shed.

A weekend with a sea kayak instructor learning to lead grade 1 trips and also being assessed for grade 2 skill levels.

Two sessions are planned in the UQ pool in order to learn how to do T rescues in sea kayaks. This is a different method to what you may have learned in canoe polo or whitewater, and is a method

A day trip to Wavebreak island on the Gold Coast to learn the basic skills needed for sea kayaking.
