An introductory day to Coochiemudlo Island in Moreton Bay to learn basic sea kayak skills at the beach.

A weekend overnight trip camping at Wivenhoe. Saturday we plan a mix of sea kayaks and tippier flatwater boats with a big social aspect and stargazing. Sunday will be more flatwater emphasis. A great social event in nice cool fresh water! Some meals catered!

Want to try kayaking? Do your friends want to try? This is your chance. The start of semester come and try day is scheduled for Saturday 17th February, from 8:00 AM to 12 noon . Prospective members are encouraged to come.

The club has a display in the Great Court on Wednesday 14th February 2018 as part of the UQ orientation week's Market Day.

A day of team competition amongst other local clubs, and also socialising, learning from others, and mainly having fun - and a barbecue!
