Due to huge increases in the pool hiring fees the club is no longer able to afford to hire the UQ Pool. The cost to users would be prohibitive.
We are investigating other options in order to find a way to make this workable, and will update information as this is worked out.
A shorter distance trip in the Brisbane Valley exploring the river between two bridges. Although this is a flatwater trip, there are some gravel runs and due to the shorter distance we'll reduce the wear and tear by using white water creek boats. If time and interest we may do it twice! :)
Camp overnight on isolated Peel Island in Moreton Bay.
