The Market day stall location has changed. It is in the area between the front of the Forgan Smith Building, the Art Gallery, the library and the Athletics fields. 10 AM – 2 PM.
Please note the venue for the AGM has changed to the Pavilion room and 7:30 PM.

UQ Sport has scheduled significant building works within the shed between Monday 27 April and Sat 9th May inclusive. This includes structural repairs to, and modification of, some shed walls.
During this period there will not be any access to the shed.

A heavily modded NDK
To help new members, there are weekly paddle sessions on the river on Thursday mornings in March. Please use these to improve your paddling, familiarise yourselves with the processes, and meet new members you might want to organise regular paddle sessions with.

Welcome to the new members. The induction sessions are filling up.
There are two extra start of semester member inductions scheduled for Monday (2/3/26) and Thursday (5/3/26).
If you are unable to make a scheduled induction session (or if they are full), please register “Can’t make these sessions” so we know you are looking for one and can look at scheduling additional sessions.

We have a new membership portal operating.
it can be accessed via the “Membership Portal” link in the menu (or by going through the joining pages).
Currently you can use it to –
Spend a day in Moreton Bay paddling around Coochiemudlo Island learning or refreshing the basics of Sea Kayaking including rescue techniques and safety.
Our semester trip to Wivenhoe Dam to try out all the tippy boats in nice clean fresh water. A great social day out to push your limits and improve your skills. Optional barbecue.
A day paddling in Moreton Bay to Green and St. Helena Islands. Possibly around St. Helena depending on conditions and the group.
A multi-disciplinary day building on introductory trips. A chance to practice and learn new skills. Details and registration will be posted in due course.
An introductory day trip for whitewater paddling and moving water. Destination to be decided (may be the Upper Brisbane River). Registration after details are posted.
