A longer paddle to several islands in Moreton Bay. An overnight trip that will visit Macleay, North Stradbroke, Peel and Coochiemudlo islands. We will stay at Dunwich (NSI) overnight. A night paddle up river to the entrance of Oxley creek. About an hour for dinner at the Park next to Qld canoeing HQ before returning. This trip will focus on introductory sea kayaking. The aim of the weekend is to improve your paddling, so we will focus on paddling skills on the weekend. The weekend is meant for beginners and basic skills level people, but everyone is welcome. A fun race to determine handicap times for future races and comparison. An introductory 21 km distance paddle up the river, just past Indooroopilly Bridge. This is a chance to show you can paddle these distances. We will take sea kayaks.2008 Sea Kayak Symposium

The club has a stall at UQ market day in the Great Court. Drop by and meet club members and find out about the club.
Interested in the Club? Non members can come along and go for a short paddle on the river and see what the club has to offer. Includes a barbecue.
Your chance to paddle small canoe polo boats at the UQ Pool. The water is heated! Change rooms and showers available. Cost $10 towards pool hire.
Our start of semester induction day to help progress new into the club.
A social paddle to the West End Markets. A chance to catch up with members and meet new ones, do some browsing/shopping and take in some food, caffeine, West End vibe, and maybe music. Back around midday / Lunch. Arrive on time!
