Part of a Queensland Government Training Grant. Club members will lead a trip to Karragarra island and the Secret Passage under the supervision of a qualified instructor.
Paddle from Victoria Point pontoon south between Garden and Macleay islands and stop for lunch on Karragarra island. The return route is from Karragarra through the “secret garden” channel of Garden island from east to west, and then north to Coochiemudlo island for a stop. After this we will return to the pontoon at Victoria point.

- Return to Victoria Pt from the red marker and avoid stopping at Coochiemudlo island (total distance 18 km)

Meet time: 7:15 AM, Depart for Victoria Point 8 AM
Meet time Victoria Point: 9 AM to unload boats with trip briefing at ~9:30 AM. Depart 10 AM.
Return: Load kayaks onto trailer and depart Victoria Point by 6 PM. Return to Brisbane 7 PM.
Risks and Hazards: Sunburn, fatigue, hypothermia, dehydration, Sea sickness, cuts and bruises, Boat capsize, Boat traffic, Tendonitis, Paddle induced injuries, wind and current (weather), group separation
