Olympic paddler Amanda Rankin will help improve club members’ paddling skills, whether beginners or more advanced. Entries close 17 March.
The club obtained a government training grant to improve the club’s skills base. As part of this, we have organised a flatwater skills trip with Olympic medal winner Amanda Rankin from Queensland Canoeing.
This is a day trip to a flatwater destination (eg Currumbin creek). Half the day will be aimed at beginners (3h), and half the day (3h) is for advanced paddlers.
There will be a second similar training day later in semester.
There are limited places for this trip.
