Come along and meet up with new & old club members. Tuesday March 10 2009.
Meet at the Regatta hotel in Toowong (near the citycat terminal on Coronation drive) at 7:30 PM on Tuesday March 10th.
Look for the group containing an Irishman (James) who will be wearing an Irish rugby jersey.
Our semester trip to Wivenhoe Dam to try out all the tippy boats in nice clean fresh water. A great social day out to push your limits and improve your skills. Optional barbecue.
A day paddling in Moreton Bay to Green and St. Helena Islands. Possibly around St. Helena depending on conditions and the group.
A multi-disciplinary day building on introductory trips. A chance to practice and learn new skills. Details and registration will be posted in due course.
An introductory day trip for whitewater paddling and moving water. Destination to be decided (may be the Upper Brisbane River). Registration after details are posted.
An 8 day remote expedition in Hervey Bay, along the west coast of Fraser Island, paddling from Urangan to Wathumba and back. Peak of the whale season.
