Our web host updated their software in July. This broke a few things on the site, most of which are repaired. However we had a few problems posting news to the front page.
It appears likely that the new up-to-date software the webhost is now running does not fully support the (now) rather old software that we use to run the site. This means we are not able to properly post to the front page of the web site. The problem unfortunately continues. However, recently we appear to have found a way to partially get around this (it works so far).
Unfortunately as a consequence of this problem, it appears that RSS and other news archival methods no longer work. We will try to resolve these in the future, but are not sure if we will be able to. A major upgrade of the software, or a migration to alternative software may eventually be required (all a lot of work!).
