Social Paddle to the Markets
A social trip down the river to the West End Markets. We’ll stop for some coffee and back to semester get-together. Open to all Saturday morning paddlers, and a chance for members to meet each other. If you aren’t able to paddle, please meet us at the markets anyway.
Christmas trip to Brunswick Heads & Byron Bay
A weekend camping trip to Brunswick Heads (next to Byron Bay). We will have access to beaches and to flatwater. This is a social end of year trip for everyone.

2012 AGM & Social evening
The 2012 Annual General Meeting of the canoe club will be held at the UQ pizza cafe from 6:30 PM on Wednesday 23rd of May. We need plenty of financial members to come along to this important annual meeting.
Saturday paddle sessions move to 7:30 AM
With the club pontoon nearing completion and becoming available for use, the Saturday morning paddle sessions are changing back to their original meeting time at 7:30 AM.

Club Barbecue
An evening barbecue next to the river for all club members. Please come along to kick off the semester. We’ll probably end up at Second Degree (aka the Red Room) near the UQ Pizza cafe afterwards.
Night Paddles Continued (Oct)
Due to continuing interest, night paddles are being continued until the end of semester (ending when exams start – second week of November). The afternoon paddles are also running as well, so please consider coming to both and having dinner with us between the two activities.
Weekly Post Polo Meetup
Every Tuesday we’re going up to the Second Degree (aka the Red Room) near the UQ Pizza cafe, after canoe polo for a quiet drink and/or meet-up. Polo ends around 9:30-10 PM. Please come prepared with a few extra dollars and maybe some warm/dry clothes 🙂
