Afternoon Social Paddle, Working Bee and Sausage Sizzle

A social paddle on the river followed by a working bee and sausage sizzle

Join us for a social paddle on the Brisbane River and working bee to repair some of our boats and equipment. Feel free to only join for part of the afternoon if you are busy.

Working Bee’s are a great way to pick up some boat maintenance skills (an essential part of kayaking!)

  • 2:00 – 3:30 pm An easy social paddle on the river
  • 3:30 – 5:00 pm Boat and equipment repair, clean shed and make tow ropes; sausage sizzle (if we get a volunteer to run organise and run the barbecue side of this)
  • 5:00 pm Boats loaded for Noosa trip (Noosa participants only)
