Club AGM, Paddle and barbecue

The club is having its Annual General Meeting on Saturday 18th of May. This is an important meeting for the club so please put it in your diaries and come along. There is a paddle beforehand and a barbecue afterwards.

The AGM is the meeting where members have an opportunity to become more involved in the club and contribute to its continued functions. The club is entirely voluntary, so if too few people volunteer then this will limit the club for everyone. The club is only as good as its volunteers.

To attend the paddle, the sausage sizzle and the AGM you must be a current financial member (checked).

  • 8.30 AM: Come and join us for an easy paddle up the river. Mike Bell, executive officer of Queensland canoeing will be joining us for a paddle. This is a chance to find out more about Queensland canoeing and what it offers.
  • 10:30 AM Arrive back
  • 11:00 AM Barbecue lunch (free) – a sausage sizzle.
  • 11:30 PM Annual General meeting (agenda below)

Date: Sat 18th May, 2013
