A basic skills session on the river – with an emphasis on sea kayaking. This includes T-rescues (ie you will get wet) in sea kayaks. Other rescues may be tried if desired.
Don’t forget to check out the Tuesday evening skills schedule at the pool. The pool provides a clean, easy environment to learn how to do various kinds of rescues. The river sessions let you try them in more realistic situations. You do not have to have attended pool sessions first.
