Weather Radars for Coastal regions of Queensland and Northern NSW are now integrated into the website.
Weather radars show local rain and storm cell activity over the 128 km and 256 km ranges of the radars. They show the intensity and distribution of the rain at approximately 10 minute intervals.
Of particular use for the club are the local radars of South-east Queensland and Northern NSW. The main Brisbane radar includes handy looping images that let you assess the general speed and direction of the rain over the previous ~30 minutes.
The Radar images are read directly from the Australian Bureau of Meteorology
