All club members are invited to come along for an end of year paddle to the Green Flea Markets (West End) on Sat 25 November. The paddle is also a chance to say goodbye to Jyotsna (Jo) who is leaving for a postdoc in Melbourne.
We will set off from the shed after 7:30 AM (same as a normal Saturday paddle), paddle downstream to the markets (about 30 min paddling), and enjoy a leisurely morning of tea, coffee, food (?breakfast), shopping, and socialising. The morning will take up a few hours, but you can paddle back when it suits you.
Various goodies are available to buy (also very cheap fruit and vegetables if you want to do your shopping), so bring some money and a bag/dry bag to put any purchases (if paddling).
If you can’t make it to the shed or don’t want to paddle, then please meet us at the markets a little later anyway.
