Club Equipment

Most of this gear was replaced after the 2011 floods so most is relatively new.

As of 2025 the club currently has

  • 13 single sea kayaks and 1 double
  • 12x TK1s of varying size and stability
    • 4x “Rosco” classic TK1 kayaks (old). The “perfect” beginner’s kayak!
    • 2x Rosco Regals (older)
    • 1x Coopertec Composites Sting Ray (new)
    • 3x Chris Hurley Green Ants (one old, two new). Move to these once confident in TK1s.
    • 1x Chris Hurley Cougar (older).
    • 1x Performance Paddles Cobra TK1 (Cobra)
  • 8x K1s and 1x K2
    • 1x Chris Hurley Apollo K1 (older) – Entry K1 ideal for the river
    • 2x Chris Hurley Zeus K1s (newer version of the Apollo) – Entry K1 ideal for the river
    • 1x Chris Hurley Neptune K1 (new) – higher end K1 paddlers
    • 2X Chris Hurley’s Bandit K1s (older) – higher end K1 paddlers
    • 2x Performance Paddles K1 (old) – higher end K1 paddlers
