Welcome day – Social Paddle and BBQ in the park

Come down in the morning for a social paddle up the river, or join us later at Guyatt Park for a barbeque, drinks and some games! (bocce, giant jenga, cornhole, frisbee, etc.) This event is a chance for new and old members to come along, get to know the club and other members, and discuss any upcoming trips you might be interested in.

Meet: At the shed at 10 AM for a light paddle, or join us afterwards at Guyatt Park from about midday.

Bring:

  • If you’re coming for the paddle, bring a towel and a change of clothes, so we can have a quick shower and get changed at the shed before we wander down to Guyatt Park. The park is in St. Lucia (next to the city cat terminal and part of the bikeway – see this map).
  • For the barbecue please bring a plate of food to share, any drinks, and any lawn games you might have!

Registration: not required, just come along on the day.
