Version: 1

We will be leaving from Victoria Point heading to the southern point of Macleay Island, via the protected channel between Garden Island and Macleay Island. We will lunch on Karragarra Island, at the picnic area. Following lunch we will return along the Western side of Macleay island, then cross over direct to Victoria Point. We may vary this and paddle through the “secret garden” and return along the western side of Garden island.

The trip will be concurrent with the Queensland Sea Kayak Club Trip (QSKC) led by John Simmons who is also a UQCC member. It will be a good opportunity to mingle with other paddlers from the QSKC as we will have lunch with them.

Bring a Cag (rain jacket) in case it gets cold when we stop for lunch.
