A day trip to Wavebreak island on the Gold Coast to learn the basic skills needed for sea kayaking.
|
A training trip around Wavebreak island. We will stop on the beach of the island, facing the Gold Coast Seaway, for lunch and training activities. If conditions are unsuited (eg wind/wind direction or swell/waves) we may use the alternate route to South Currigee.
Note this trip is limited to 10 people (the club as 9 boats). Don’t leave it too late to register. There may be 1 or 2 other more experienced club members coming along too to help. Training Outline Phase 1 (prior to on water activity) Phase 2 (on water on route) Phase 3 (arrival at IN WATER skill training session) Phase 4 (trip home) |
