A trip whitewater paddling in the Surf (depending on water levels). Getting on this trip and out of town could be the smartest thing to do for the G20 holiday!
The trip is to Cotton Tree campsite at Maroochydore on the Sunshine coast.
Due to various circumstances from weather, to logistics ( the University is shut down over President Obama’s visit to UQ), to lack of campsites, to club members preferring to go see the US president, the trip has changed to a day trip on Sunday 16th November. It may leave late Saturday to stay overnight at Cotton tree, depending on campsite availability (it’s a long weekend….).
