The UQ Canoe Club is participating in the inaugural Paddle with Pride event. This is organised through Paddle Australia and is taking place in several locations around Australia.
This Paddle event celebrates inclusion and diversity in sport for LGBTQ, gender diverse individuals and allies. Attend during the morning and go for a paddle on the Brisbane river. It is open to all, so please come along and show your support.
Date: Sat, 15th October 2022
Time: NOW – 10:30AM to 3PM (any time during this time)
Location: UQ Canoe Club Boat shed, located here.
Cost: Free
Come dressed in sensible gear (e.g. shorts, shirt (long sleeves if possible, and shoes that you don’t mind if they get wet). A hat and dark glasses are also recommended. You can bring a towel and dry clothes just in case….. (though it’s not likely you’ll need these).
