POSTPONED DUE TO BAD WEATHER
This paddle was originally scheduled for 18/2/22 and then 25/2/22 but is cancelled due to bad weather. It will be rescheduled.
A covid save night paddle without dinner stop (please have food before the paddle and only bring a snack for yourself on the river). We will meet at the shed at 5 PM, get our boats and gear ready and start paddling with the current. We will still have sun at the start of the paddle, but the sun will set at about 18:30 PM.
Please bring at least two white lights (no red etc.) and a glow stick. Those lights can be headlamps, front bike lamps etc that will be tied to the boat and/or your PFD. The lights are important so other boats are able to spot us on the river.
- Distance: unknown, we will turn around when the tide turns, distance will depend on group strength.
- High tide: about 17:27 at UQCC boat shed (16:37 PM at Brisbane Bar)
- Low tide: about 21:37 at shed (20:47 at Brisbane Bar)
- Sunset: 18:29 PM
- Moon: it is one day after full moon, but the moon will only rise at 7:42 PM, so we won’t have much moon during the paddle
- Meet at shed: 17:00 PM
- Back at shed: 20:00 PM
- Finished: 20:30 PM
