Join and learn about boats before you buy your own – otherwise this could be you!
Current members please come along (come a bit earlier 7:15 AM as we need help setting up), help out, and meet new people. Help the club get a good start to the year.
Date: Sat, 27th July 2019
Time: 8:00AM to 12 Noon (any time in the morning)
Location: UQ Canoe Club Boat shed, located here.
Cost: Only $5 and includes the barbeque & drinks. Free for current members who come and help.
Come dressed in sensible gear (e.g. shorts, shirt (long sleeves if possible, and shoes that you don’t mind if they get wet). A hat and dark glasses are also recommended. You can bring a towel and dry clothes just in case….. (though it’s not likely you’ll need these). There are warm showers and toilets in the shed complex if required.
You must be able to swim (you will also need to sign a club waiver on the day). You must also be over 18 years old (its a legal thing 🙁 ) Please let us know if you have any relevant medical issues (check with your doctor first if needed).
