New to the university and want to find out more about the sport and the club? Come along and find out at this year's second semester O-week Market Day.

This year's club championships are on Saturday afternoon of 29 May at the shed. Fantastic Prices courtesy of Rosco canoes. It will be a fun day with sprints, novelty races and relays, as well as a barbecue at the end. There are also restricted categories for the beginners.

There will be a paddle to the markets on Sat 10 April. Please register by email or risk missing out on the day.

See the Saturday morning calendar for more details

An evening barbecue next to the river for all club members. Please come along to kick off the semester. We'll probably end up at Second Degree (aka the Red Room) near the UQ Pizza cafe afterwards.

Want to try kayaking? Do your friends want to try? This is your chance. The beginning of semester come and try day is scheduled for Saturday 27 February, between 8:00 AM and 11 AM. Prospective members are encouraged to come.

The club is going bowling for Christmas. This is a chance to meet up and socialise with people you've been paddling with, and to meet those outside your normal kayak discipline(s).

Every Tuesday we're going up to the Second Degree (aka the Red Room) near the UQ Pizza cafe, after canoe polo for a quiet drink and/or meet-up. Polo ends around 9:30-10 PM. Please come prepared with a few extra dollars and maybe some warm/dry clothes :)

The weekly Wednesday night paddles finish this Wednesday evening. There will be a Barbecue beforehand at the club shed at 6:15 PM as well - bring a little food. Don't forget your lights!

Come along and try out a kayak on the river. Have a look around the club shed and see what is available. Talk to club members. Have a barbecue brunch.
