social events

A social trip to the markets for breakfast and shopping.

A weekend away to Tweed Heads, northern NSW to learn skills important for various kayak disciplines including sea kayaking, flatwater, and whitewater.

The club has a display in the Great Court on Wednesday 23 Feb 2011 as part of the UQ orientation week's Market Day.

UQ Sport is holding a barbecue to say thank you to all the staff and other volunteers who helped out with the clean-up after the recent floods.

The Queensland Sea Kayak Club has organised a talk by Stuart Trueman who is paddling past Brisbane on his way around Australia (from Broome in WA). This is a chance to hear the story so far.

There will be a paddle to the markets on Sat 10 April. Please register by email or risk missing out on the day.

See the Saturday morning calendar for more details
