Brisbane River Barefoot Bowls Paddle

We will paddle from the UQCC shed to the boat ramp on Ross St in Newstead (near Newstead Park) and go for a 2 h barefoot bowl. We will take cars back to the shed.

We will paddle from the UQCC shed to the public boat ramp on 68 Ross St Newstead, pack the boats on the trailer and then go for a 2 h barefoot bowl at ""The Boo"". The distance is about 16 km, but we will have tidal assistance all the time and the paddle will take about 3 h.

Paddler Requirements✓ Conditions can be calm, but can change dramatically with winds and tides contributing significantly to this.

CostsThe costs for the bowl depends on the number of participants. It will be at most $10, but probably less. You need to bring additional money for food and drinks as well as for the car schedule.
Additional Comments/InstructionsEither have an early lunch before we leave and have snacks on the way, or have something you can eat fairly easily. We may stop at the cliffs opposite the city where you will have a chance to eat it.
