Upper Brisbane River

Saturday, 06 December 2014
A two day trip paddling down the Upper Brisbane River. Its quite nice up in these parts, but then it is where our drinking water comes from!

Full Details
The upper Brisbane river is a lot nicer than the lower parts (non-tidal). There are many narrow parts, gravel runs and some small grade 1 rapids.

If you have poor boat control, then this is probably not the trip for you. A flat water trip that demonstrates why it is good to try other disciplines such as whitewater

Date: 6th & 7th December (moved from 13th & 14th September)
Boats: sea kayaks and basic TK1s.

Duration: 2 days
Accommodation: camping

Further details to be posted. Please check back here.
