Whitewater rescue training (evening workshop)

Sunday, 15 June 2014
Swiftwater rescue training (not on water). This is a rare chance to learn some more advance whitewater theory and practice. If you have any interest in moving water don't miss it!

Full Details
Phil Benfield is visiting Brisbane and has offered to do some swiftwater training with us in the form of 3 hours of dry training on theory, throwbag techniques and river safety.

Don't miss this opportunity if you have any interest in moving water. Even if you are more interested in flatwater or sea kayaking, there are situations in the wilds where fast flowing water and small rapids are encountered.

Date: Sunday Evening June 15th
Time: 5pm to 9pm

Venue: Room 212 in the Forgan Smith building (bulding nr 1) next to the Great Court on the St. Lucia Campus

Registration: Please register your interest with Niall (whitewater rep)
