Flood Recovery Status

This page will be updated with information about the club's recovery from the 2011 floods.

Status (near end July): Limited to paddling on the river (this will change when a bit more basic gear becomes available). Membership reopened. Pontoon repair is underway (it is not complete). Many new boats have arrived. Many old boats repaired. Other boats are on order. PFDs have arrived.

We have borrowed a couple of sea kayaks from Queensland Canoeing (Thanks QC!). We are able to do paddling on the river. There is no borrowing of boats (other than local river paddling). Thanks for your patience!

The boat insurance has come through... We have ordered a lot of gear gear and a fair amount has arrived.
