A semi-social trip to Byron Bay to train/play in the waves. This trip is sea-kayaking friendly, and confident sea kayakers are welcome. This is a chance for white-water and seakayak folks to meet up, compare skills, and share the odd beer.

Duration: 2-3 days/1-3 nights Paddle type: Whitewater kayaking (and sea kayaking - i.e. competent sea kayakers welcome) Requirements: Prior bookings are essential Gear: Camping gear, kayaks, food, hat, sun protection, towel, swimming gear, water bottles, safety gear (life-jackets, helmets, etc), 2L water Basic Costs: Petrol money to whoever you get a lift with. A donation to the club to go toward gear replacement (if you are economically able - don't let this stop you coming). Camping fees ($50 to 55 for 3 nights - long weekend prices...). Meet: Friday 5th June (evening) at boat shed around 6PM. Drive to Byron. Destination: Byron Bay - Broken head campsite Contact: Scott Olorenshaw (whitewater kayaking rep) *ASAP - as firm commitments are needed now
